Say Goodbye to swirl marks and scratches

Are you annoyed of seeing swirl marks and scratches on your vehicle? Here at Divos Detailing we can take care of that. With our techniques and proper care we eliminate anywhere from 75% to 90% of imperfections from your paint giving your vehicle that factory shine it once had.

If your goal is to remove about 75% imperfections we advise you to get a one-step paint correction. This service will enhance your vehicle's shine while removing most imperfections.

If you're aiming for an almost perfect finish the two-step paint correction is for you. Eliminating around 90% of paint imperfections, giving your paint that nice glassy factory look.

Once a scratch has gone through the clear coat there is no way to polish it out with a paint correction. Some scratches or defects are simply just impossible to polish out.

After a paint correction it is important to properly wash your car. Do not go through an automatic car wash as it will leave swirl marks again on your paint. When contacting washing your car make sure the car mitt has no contaminates or debris that may scratch or swill up your paint.

The Process Of Paint-Correction

1. Preparation

Pre wash: Before we touch the paint we like to use a pre wash to remove and dirt or grime on the paint

Contact Wash: We start with foaming up the whole vehicle then use a soft microfiber wash mitt to clean the surface.

Iron Decontamination: After the surface of the paint has been cleaned thoroughly we use an iron remover to remove any iron contaminants embedded in the clear coat.

Clay Bar Treatment: After the Iron decon we use a clay bar to remove embedded contaminants and smooth out the surface. This step helps ensure a clean, smooth surface for polishing.

Inspect the Paint: We dry the car and inspect the paint under proper lighting.

2. Polishing

(One-Step Paint Correction Process) With a One-Step Paint Correction we polish and correct the paint at the same time. This eliminates around 75% of imperfections on the paint while providing the paint with an amazing shine.

(Two-Step-Paint Correction Process) With a Two-Step Paint Correction process we start off by safely cutting down the clear coat to remove almost any imperfections on the paint. After we start polishing the paint, adding that nice factory glassy gloss back to your paint.

3. Finishing

Once the Paint has been corrected we wipe down any polishing compound then spray the surface down with isopropyl alcohol to ensure any protection you want to add to the vehicle will properly bond to the paint

4. Protection

Based on your choice we strongly recommend adding protection to your paint. We recommend a ceramic coating as it is long lasting and super durable. You can also add a paint sealant or a wax instead.
